Teachers PLEASE be sure to have computers charged and use them well before testing dates so that you will know if they need repair etc....
If you are sharing computers for small group sessions or other reasons, please send the chargers with computers.
Most issues can be solved by shutting down the computer and restarting it.
As Beth mentioned in your training sessions you should always have a plan B in the event these resolutions do not solve your issue.
Issues you may encounter while testing with SchoolNet
Some of these issues can be solved by changing browsers. Please train your students to be able to switch back and forth between browsers (Chrome to IE or IE to Chrome)
IF graphics do not display in either Chrome or IE, switch browsers.
Screen is larger on some questions then others - GO to the right most corner of the page and change the magnification to 100%. It may be at 125 or 150. Change to 75 then change back to 100 and refresh the page. Schoolnet just spins and in some cases does not connect at all - Switch to another browser. If this does not work, restart the computer. This seems to happen randomly to various computers with no explanation as to why. Some questions will not allow you to select an answer - Switch browsers. Graphics are not loading - Switch browsers Screen is too big to see graphics. - GO to the right most corner of the page and change the magnification to 100%. If already at 100 change to 50 then change back and refresh the page.-If this doesnt work, switch browsers.
